Shandong Taikai Vehicle Manufacture Co., Ltd was established in 1968 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Taikai Group. With a registered capital of 300 million yuan and total assets of 480 million yuan, it covers an area of 186,000 square metres and has over 300 employees, including 114 professional and technical personnel.

The company's leading products are "Daiyang" brand special vehicles: oil tankers, gasoline tank trucks, crude oil tankers and other hazardous-material tank trucks; water tankers, sprinklers, liquid supply vehicles, edible oil and lubricating oil tankers; tow trucks and aerial work vehicles (insulated bucket trucks); fracturing sand tankers, on-site explosive mixing trucks, engineering vehicles and concrete mixers; high-temperature liquid tank trucks for molten aluminium and steel; powder and granular material carriers, dry-mixed mortar tankers, electrolyte and alumina powder tankers and anode residue vehicles.

There are over 100 types of products listed in the National Vehicle Manufacturers and Products Announcement published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, with an annual production capacity of 10,000 units. Products cover every province of China and are exported to more than ten countries including Russia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Cuba, South Africa, Nigeria, Congo and Laos.

The company runs CRM, PLM, ERP and OA management systems and has passed CCC certification, ISO 9001, GB/T 24001 environmental management, GB/T 28000 occupational health and safety, GB/T 23331-2020 energy management and green power certification.

Honours include National High-tech Enterprise, Shandong Innovative SME, Shandong Specialized and Sophisticated SME, Taian Enterprise Technology Center, Taian Green Factory, the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of State Grid Corporation of China and the First Prize of the 6th National Equipment Management and Technological Innovation Achievement. It holds 50 valid patents, 13 of them invention patents.
